What you'll do

• Support the Grocery Manager with hiring, training, evaluations, and staff scheduling
• supervise grocery, bulk, perishables, and meat and fish departments
• oversee stocking and merchandising
• participate in promotions planning
• support buyer and vendor negotiations
• assist with department budgeting and paperwork
• maintain safety and health-code procedures
• help manage ordering, returns, inventory, deliveries, and backstock
• cover Manager on Duty duties as requested.
