What you'll do

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and assemble rotating equipment and mechanical seals using repair packets and routers.
• Document component wear and condition, complete inspection forms, and photograph critical components.
• Receive and evaluate returned parts, check drawing revisions, determine repairability and necessary repair operations, and verify specifications.
• Clean components and perform repairs under close supervision.
• Operate shop equipment including a drill press, tool post grinder, bead blast polisher, and lapping machine.
• Parts structuring and repair pricing may be performed.
