What you'll do

• Bill insurance claims, including Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care
• comply with insurance contract requirements and federal billing regulations
• maintain complete documentation
• coordinate with facility management
• submit clean claims and follow up on payment
• review accounts-receivable aging
• verify patient data
• investigate delinquent accounts
• contact third-party payers
• document account activity
• process refunds and correct late charges
• respond to patient account inquiries.
