Field Test Operator - The Toro Company

The Field Test Operator is an onsite role based in Farmington, MN. The hourly pay range is $20 to $25, supporting the Product Evaluation Test Sites at The Toro Company. This role performs a variety of field test duties, including operating prototype and production units, inspecting machines, and maintaining daily logs. The operator works independently or leads a group of employees to report findings on machine operation to supervisors and technicians.

What you'll do

• Personally operates and evaluates Toro prototype, Toro production, and competitive units in field testing as required.
• Maintain basic log sheet entries on machine operation and/or report back any findings to the Supervisor and/or Technician.
• May be required to lead a group of temporary employees conducting a field test program.
• Educate new operators of proper use and operation of equipment and PPE.
• May support Field Site Technicians with preventative maintenance, basic repairs, or equipment rework.
• Drive vehicles to remote sites for evaluation.
