Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant role is onsite in Elk River, MN. Compensation is $60,000–$73,000 per year. Sportech designs, manufactures, and assembles cab components and systems for powersports, golf and turf, industrial, and agricultural markets. The accountant supports the Finance team by maintaining accurate general ledger and balance sheet records and helping complete month-end close. The work contributes to reliable financial reporting, audit readiness, and effective accounting controls.

What you'll do

• Prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries
• complete assigned month-end close tasks and supporting schedules
• reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts and investigate differences
• support fixed asset, lease, prepaid, cash, and intercompany accounting
• prepare audit documentation
• maintain organized accounting records and support process improvements.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting. Epicor or similar ERP experience is strongly preferred; strong Excel skills are required.
