The practitioner supports the Respiratory Care Services department at Providence Mission Hospital, which provides patient-focused care and is recognized for quality programs. The role provides respiratory treatments and diagnostic services under physician orders and respiratory care leadership. The practitioner assesses pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, makes clinical decisions, and performs blood gas collection, analysis, and reporting across general care, critical care, emergency, trauma, perioperative, and other areas.

What you'll do

• Provide respiratory treatments and diagnostic services according to physician orders and department policies
• assess patients and make clinical decisions
• perform blood gas sticks, draws, analysis, and reporting
• provide care across general clinical, critical/intensive care, emergency, trauma, perioperative, labor and delivery, and other areas as required.

Why this role

Full-time, 12-hour day shifts. California Respiratory Care Practitioner license and BLS required upon hire; ACLS and PALS required within 90 days. Two-year AMA-approved respiratory therapy program required.
