Senior Human Resources Specialist

The Senior Human Resources Specialist role is full-time and in person in Los Angeles, CA. Compensation is $37–$50 per hour. The specialist supports a growing commercial electrical contractor with more than 150 employees. The role manages core HR operations and employee lifecycle processes while helping strengthen HR systems and reduce compliance risk. It supports employees and managers through recruiting, employee relations, compliance, benefits, leave, payroll coordination, and performance matters.

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle processes
• lead recruiting, screening, onboarding, and offboarding
• handle employee relations, complaints, investigations, discipline, and performance issues
• maintain compliance with California employment and wage-and-hour laws
• coordinate payroll, timekeeping, benefits, and employee status changes
• manage leaves, accommodations, and return-to-work processes
• coordinate workers’ compensation claims
• maintain HR policies and records
• support managers and leadership.
