Wastewater Technician

It also assists with landfill maintenance and equipment operation as needed.

What you'll do

• Maintain the landfill for EPA inspections
• set up and maintain portable pumps for leachate and stormwater control
• perform routine and preventive maintenance on pumps and equipment
• monitor stormwater pumping and wastewater discharge
• manage odor control and evaluate the site for system issues
• maintain gas well field pumps
• operate vacuum, sweeper, flush, and other trucks as needed
• assist with landfill maintenance and alternate daily cover
• follow safety and regulatory requirements.
