The Bid & Proposal Specialist — Fleet Solutions works onsite in Kansas City, MO, at company headquarters, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Pay is $26–$30 per hour. The role supports the Bid Team and Director of New Business and Product Management in proposals for buses, vans, and commercial passenger transportation solutions. The specialist turns procurement requirements into accurate, complete, and compliant submissions by coordinating information across sales, technical, pricing, legal, executive, and manufacturer contacts. The work helps the company respond on time to public and commercial purchasing opportunities.

What you'll do

• Evaluate RFP and bid opportunities
• develop, format, and compile proposal responses
• track deadlines and support timely submissions
• maintain response libraries, templates, and version control
• coordinate technical, pricing, legal, and executive input
• ensure responses meet customer requirements and company standards
• monitor bid portals
• coordinate manufacturer quotes
• provide status updates, post-submission reviews, and bid tabulations
• submit responses when the Bid/Sales Administrator is unavailable.
