Venue Services Associate

The Venue Services Associate role is onsite in Chicago, IL, part-time, with hours based on the performance and event schedule. Compensation is $17.05 per hour. The Harris Theater’s mission is to be a home for music and dance. The role prepares and maintains the theater facility before, during, and after performances and events. Through cleaning, sanitation, supply replenishment, and event setup support, the associate helps provide a clean, orderly venue for patrons, artists, renters, and staff.

What you'll do

• Clean, sanitize, and disinfect public, backstage, and office areas
• clean floors, dressing rooms, and restrooms
• replenish paper goods and remove trash
• set up and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
• monitor assigned areas
• transport and restock linens
• respond to spills, overflowing trash, and other event needs
• assist other departments
• set up, adjust, or strike tables, chairs, stanchions, and linens as needed.
