IT Scrum Master

Job overview

The IT Scrum Master role is hybrid, with work supporting teams in Colorado Springs, CO and Huntsville, AL. Compensation is $110,000–$140,000 per year. LaunchTech supports the Missile Defense Agency’s Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions contract. Partnering with the Release Train Engineer, the Scrum Master establishes and coaches Agile practices for technical teams, coordinates delivery across locations, and helps teams meet sprint goals while integrating IT service delivery and cybersecurity work.

What you'll do

• Partner with the Release Train Engineer to align the Scrum Master role with program-level SAFe frameworks and Agile release trains
• design and train teams on Agile processes
• facilitate hybrid collaboration and team ceremonies
• coach teams on Agile/Scrum
• assist with backlog maintenance and user stories
• document planning data and provide weekly metrics
• resolve impediments
• track capacity, velocity, and burndown
• coordinate dependencies
• integrate IT service delivery and cybersecurity compliance tasks into workflows
• foster continuous improvement.
