Senior Electrical Engineer

The role produces electrical engineering design and construction deliverables from concept through completion. It supports Superior’s business objectives by developing engineered solutions, reviewing constructability, and providing technical support through project execution and equipment testing.

What you'll do

• Produce engineering drawings and specifications
• review construction documents for constructability, design improvements, value engineering, and scope gaps
• lead design-build pursuits and projects by developing scope, schedules, and budgets
• create energization and electrical performance methods and procedures
• assist with equipment testing and energization and conduct root-cause analysis
• coordinate with field and project operations, VDC, estimating, prefabrication, owners, construction managers, design professionals, manufacturers, distributors, repair, and testing companies
• provide site observations, write RFIs, and answer technical questions
• develop design enhancement studies
• perform and review engineering calculations and power system studies.
