The Independent Direct Care Provider role is onsite in Chipley, FL, with compensation of $17.00 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday and Thursday, 10 AM–2 PM, for 8 hours per week. Avail Health & Behavioral Solutions supports people with disabilities through individualized, respectful care. The provider delivers one-on-one home and community support to a young adult with disabilities, assisting with daily living, recreation, behavioral support, and person-centered goals while following the care plan and agency safety protocols.

What you'll do

• Assist with meal preparation, bathing, and toileting
• provide structured home-based recreation
• use de-escalation and redirection techniques
• reinforce positive behaviors and person-centered goals
• follow individualized care plans and behavioral support strategies
• maintain professional boundaries
• follow APD guidelines and agency protocols
• communicate with agency leadership, families, and support coordinators
• respond to emergencies as needed.
