The role provides hands-on support for asphalt materials testing, sample preparation, data collection, and quality assurance and quality control processes, contributing to laboratory operations and ongoing research projects under supervision.

What you'll do

• Prepare, handle, and label asphalt binder, emulsion, and aggregate samples
• conduct routine laboratory tests under supervision
• record and maintain test data
• help maintain cleanliness, calibration logs, and safety documentation
• prepare materials or gather results for research projects
• follow safety procedures for hot materials, chemicals, and equipment
• collaborate on testing issues.
