Home Care Aide

Job overview

The Home Care Aide role provides onsite care in clients’ homes in Pacifica, CA. Compensation is $23–$24 per hour. Nurse Next Door supports seniors in remaining at home through flexible care options and its Happier Aging mission. The aide follows each client’s care plan and provides nonmedical assistance with daily living, household tasks, companionship, and transportation. The role also records services and reports changes in clients’ conditions or needs to the administrator or care designer.

What you'll do

• Follow the client care plan
• assist with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, transfers, mobility, meals, and toileting
• provide household help, laundry, transportation, shopping, and companionship
• give reminders for self-administered medications
• report changes in client condition
• complete service records and required training
• maintain active California Home Care Aide registration.
