What you'll do

• Design, build, and ship high-performance backend software for a variable-fidelity defense simulation, including its computational core, services, APIs, and data layers.
• Apply performance engineering and scientific modeling while maintaining an understandable, documented codebase in an AI-native development workflow.
• Requirements include a scientific or engineering bachelor's degree, seven or more years of professional engineering or software development experience, and possession of or ability to obtain an active Secret clearance.
• The posting also requires backend language, architecture, database, concurrency, performance, development-tool, and agentic coding-tool experience.
• The position is contingent upon contract award.
