Production Helper

Job overview

The Production Helper role is onsite in Geneva, OH, with pay of $21 per hour. The position supports production of natural gas distribution products in a manufacturing environment. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM, after two days of first-shift training. The role cleans and packages products, performs assigned workstation operations, checks materials and tools, inspects finished products, and records production, quality, and safety data. It contributes to safe, efficient production and quality standards while maintaining an organized work area.

What you'll do

• Clean and package natural gas line products using production equipment and processes
• follow manuals, work instructions, and supervisor direction
• check materials, tools, and gauges
• visually inspect products for quality
• package and label finished or semi-finished products
• report production, quality, and safety data
• maintain workstation housekeeping
• move and stage materials
• report safety issues
• participate in continuous improvement activities
• perform other assigned duties, which may include operating hand trucks, carts, barrel trucks, or an electric mule.
