Lube and Tire Technician

Job overview

The Lube and Tire Technician role is onsite in Lawrence, KS; compensation is $18–$22 per hour. The family-owned Selection Premium Automobiles shop handles routine maintenance and larger repairs. The technician performs oil and tire services and supports inspections and preventative maintenance, with opportunities to assist with additional repairs while learning. The role contributes to shop quality and customer service and can develop toward mechanical repair work.

What you'll do

• Perform oil changes
• mount, balance, rotate, and replace tires and wheels
• conduct used-vehicle inspections and basic preventative maintenance
• and assist with brakes, suspension, HVAC, diagnostics, and repairs while learning. Requires about one year of shop or mechanical experience, a valid driver’s license, a toolbox and basic tools, and working knowledge of common shop equipment.
