What you'll do

• Assess patients and develop and update nursing care plans
• provide patient and family health teaching and discharge planning
• document patient responses and nursing interventions
• conduct safety rounds
• administer medications and prescribed treatments
• engage patients in treatment
• participate in hospital committees, improvement activities, and staff or student orientation
• relieve the charge nurse when assigned.
