What you'll do

• Create and fulfill monthly and quarterly production schedules
• direct production personnel
• implement programs to improve labor efficiency, delivery, quality, and safety
• report on program contributions and manufacturing issues
• support equipment selection
• recruit, train, and develop staff
• manage performance and workplace safety
• establish production planning systems and quality standards
• coordinate purchasing, logistics, inventory, and production control with plant and supply-chain leaders
• manage budgets and costs
• lead continuous-improvement and cost-reduction programs
• coordinate with functional departments.
