Senior Software Developer, COMSEC IT Services

The Senior Software Developer role is onsite in the DMV area, with the listing location in Springfield, VA. The target salary range is $140,000–$195,000 per year. The role supports the COMSEC IT Services contract and is contingent on contract award and government approval. The developer designs, builds, tests, integrates, and sustains secure applications for COMSEC mission operations, accountability, automation, modernization, and information processing. What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications
• develop secure features, automated workflows, and APIs
• support modernization of legacy COMSEC applications
• write maintainable, secure, documented code
• troubleshoot and resolve defects
• participate in code reviews and quality control
• support CI/CD and build automation
• integrate applications with databases, services, and external interfaces
• apply security controls throughout the development lifecycle
• prepare technical documentation, test plans, and implementation procedures
• collaborate with engineering, database, cybersecurity, and operations teams.

Why this role
