Passenger Transportation Driver — Part-Time, Days (PRN)

The Passenger Transportation Driver role is onsite in Ashland, OH, with part-time, as-needed work and hours varying between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Pay is $12–$13.80 per hour. Brethren Care Village is a Christian-based senior living community focused on compassionate, individualized care. The driver helps residents reach medical appointments and supports their comfort and safety during outings. The role also maintains vehicles, follows facility safety and infection-control procedures, and communicates relevant information to the Director of Housing and support staff.

What you'll do

• Transport residents to medical appointments
• schedule appointments
• assist residents with ambulation and toileting during appointments according to care plans
• keep vehicles free of hazardous debris and clean them as needed
• fuel vehicles, arrange oil changes at service centers, and complete monthly vehicle safety checks
• clean transportation wheelchairs and layback chairs monthly
• follow safety and infection-control procedures
• report pertinent information to the Director of Housing and support staff
• participate in facility committees and perform other duties assigned by a supervisor.
