Engineering Technician

Job overview

The Engineering Technician role is onsite in Biddeford, ME. Pay is $35–$40 per hour, based on experience. The technician helps engineering and production teams develop and improve manufacturing processes, resolve tooling and production issues, and support new product introductions. The work contributes to production efficiency, quality, and reduced scrap.

What you'll do

• Support manufacturing engineers with process development, optimization, and implementation
• maintain work instructions, routings, and process documentation
• troubleshoot manufacturing, tooling, and process issues
• support CNC machining, tooling evaluations, and fixture development
• collect and analyze production data
• support new product introductions, process validation, and first-article work
• collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and production
• assist with engineering changes and lean initiatives
• follow safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.
