Personal Care Assistant – Flexible Schedule

Job overview

The Personal Care Assistant – Flexible Schedule role is onsite in Waco, TX, with compensation of $11–$13 per hour. Right at Home provides in-home care and assistance to help people remain comfortable in their homes. The role supports clients with activities of daily living and other individualized care needs, helping improve their quality of life through personal assistance, household support, and companionship.

What you'll do

• Assist with personal hygiene, ambulation and transfers, dressing and shaving
• prepare meals and snacks
• accompany clients on errands or medical appointments
• perform light housekeeping
• provide patient-specific support taught by a Right at Home supervisor, which may include hospice support, medication reminders, range-of-motion exercises, blood glucose monitoring, bed-bound patient care, incontinence care, and use of lifting equipment.

An active CNA credential is not required; at least one year of previous care experience is required. Day or night 12-hour shifts and other shift options are available.
