Power, BESS & Utility Construction Manager

The Power, BESS & Utility Construction Manager role is an onsite position based in Chicago, IL, with regular travel to project sites and field presence as required. Compensation is not specified. The position leads projects from preconstruction and design coordination through construction, commissioning, and closeout. It coordinates owners, engineers, utilities, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams while managing project performance, safety, quality, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Manage power, BESS, utility, and related infrastructure projects through closeout. Own estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reporting and billing, design coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation. Develop budgets, procurement plans, forecasts, and project controls
• coordinate equipment, permitting, utility interfaces, and field activities. Lead project meetings, manage changes and risks, support commissioning and turnover, and travel to project sites as required.
