• Under supervision, learn professional phone etiquette and patient scheduling, MEDENT electronic health record basics, check-in and check-out procedures, patient flow, front desk tasks such as faxing, copying, and filing, medical terminology, psychiatric services, insurance billing and coding basics, and HIPAA compliance and patient privacy. Complete orientation, observation, and supervised practice
• the program requires at least 600 hours for completion.
