Material Handler — 1st Shift

The Material Handler role is onsite at Amerhart’s Sun Prairie, WI facility. Starting pay is $22.50 per hour. What you'll do

• Unload common-carrier trucks and railroad cars
• replenish warehouse product locations
• pick orders using a forklift
• report shortages or damaged material and coordinate order changes as directed
• use handheld scanners for receiving, picking, loading, and cycle counts
• band, wrap, and prepare materials for shipping
• arrange truck loads for safe weight distribution
• follow warehouse safety procedures
• fill orders for incoming customers
• clean warehouse and yard
• inspect forklifts before daily operation
• cross-train and back up warehouse colleagues.
