Urgent Care Physician (MD/DO)

The Urgent Care Physician role is onsite at the Watsonville, CA clinic. Compensation is $130–$150 per hour. Doctors on Duty provides urgent and primary care services at locations along California’s Central Coast, including Monterey, Salinas, and Santa Cruz. The physician evaluates and treats non-life-threatening conditions and work-related injuries, supporting timely patient access to care. The role also completes occupational health assessments and workers’ compensation documentation while coordinating with clinical staff and external stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume urgent care setting
• diagnose and treat non-emergency conditions
• evaluate and treat work-related injuries and illnesses
• complete workers’ compensation documentation
• perform employment-related physicals
• collaborate with clinical staff
• communicate with case managers, employers, and insurance adjusters as needed
• document encounters in the EHR
• and follow clinic protocols and regulatory requirements.
