Monitor Technician - DOU - Full-Time - Night Shift

The Monitor Technician is an onsite role based in West Covina, CA, with a pay range of $21.00–$31.50 per hour. This position supports the Queen of the Valley Hospital department by ensuring continuous cardiac monitoring and patient safety. The role exists to observe and interpret cardiac rhythm status, alert nursing staff to variances, and perform essential non-clinical unit duties. By maintaining accurate monitoring and facilitating communication at the nurses' station, the technician contributes directly to the quality of patient care and the hospital's mission of providing a safe, compassionate environment.

What you'll do

• Observe and interpret patients' cardiac rhythm status
• listen for and respond to alarms
• inform RNs of rhythm variances
• greet visitors and answer questions at the nurses' station
• transcribe medical orders
• perform non-clinical admission, discharge, and transfer duties
• organize nurses' station activities
• receive and deliver patient medications.
