This position exists to perform essential preventative and corrective maintenance on the company's transport fleet and trailers. The technician ensures all equipment remains in compliance with DOT standards while contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the fleet.

What you'll do

• Inspect and maintain trailers per DOT requirements
• manage vehicle maintenance files and compliance documentation
• perform tire changes
• execute emergency maintenance and breakdown repairs
• coordinate outside equipment repairs and annual tanker certifications
• maintain the truck shop area and manage parts inventory
• perform routine maintenance including oil changes, air filters, brakes, and electrical systems
• troubleshoot and repair transport trucks and tankers.
