Coating Operator – 1st Shift

The Coating Operator – 1st Shift role is onsite in Olathe, KS. Pay is $20.25 per hour. The position supports the Final Assembly / PVA department at an electronics manufacturer producing printed circuit board assemblies and finished electronic products. The operator sets up, runs, monitors, and maintains conformal coating equipment to protect circuit-board assemblies while meeting quality and production requirements. Inspection, traceability, process checks, and safe chemical handling help keep the coating process compliant and on schedule.

What you'll do

• Operate PVA conformal coating equipment according to work instructions
• verify programs, materials, valves, spray patterns, conveyor settings, and cure requirements
• load and unload PCB assemblies while maintaining traceability
• inspect for coating defects
• report process and equipment issues
• perform routine light maintenance and cleaning
• follow ESD, IPC, safety, chemical-handling, ventilation, and quality requirements
• and support masking, demasking, touch-up, inspection, and 6S activities as required.

Why this role

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with every other Friday off. Occasional extended hours may be needed.
