The NPES Systems Administrator role is onsite at Raven Rock Mountain Complex in Blue Ridge Summit, PA. Pay starts at $90,000 per year. The role supports the Joint Staff Support Center Information Technology Support Services contract and the mission-critical Nuclear Planning and Execution System environment. The administrator maintains the hardware and software supporting the Site-R NPES server and client baseline and provides Tier I, II, and III operations support. The work sustains system availability and operational readiness through administration, troubleshooting, backup and recovery, patching, documentation, configuration management, and cybersecurity compliance.

What you'll do

• Maintain hardware and software for the Site-R NPES server/client baseline
• provide Tier I/II/III IT operations support
• perform systems operations, administration, and maintenance
• support client and server operations, backup and recovery, storage administration, system patching, troubleshooting, technical documentation, configuration management, and cybersecurity compliance
• resolve complex technical problems and support mission-critical information systems.
