The Interventional Radiology Technologist role is onsite in Murrells Inlet, SC. Compensation is not specified. The technologist supports interventional imaging and procedures under the Inpatient Imaging Manager and works with the Interventional Radiologist.

What you'll do

• Prepare patients for procedures, review relevant lab values and allergies, and educate patients and families.
• Scrub in to assist physicians and maintain a sterile field.
• Operate angiography equipment and mobile C-arms, assist with interventional procedures, document patient histories and procedure metrics, and ensure records are archived in HIS, RIS, and PACS.
• Follow ALARA radiation safety practices, maintain equipment and inventory, and assist with mentoring and training.

Why this role

Requires an associate's degree in radiologic technology and the listed radiography credentials. Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days; cardiac and vascular interventional radiography credentials are preferred.
