Journeyman Truck Technician / Mechanic, Day Shift is an onsite role in Klamath Falls, OR. Compensation is $35.35–$39.90 per hour, depending on experience. The technician works in Pape’ Kenworth’s shop supporting customers and helping maximize truck uptime. The role diagnoses, repairs, maintains, and services medium- and heavy-duty Class 7 and 8 trucks so vehicles return to service safely and reliably. It contributes to customer operations by completing accurate, timely repairs and reducing vehicle downtime.

What you'll do

• Diagnose truck malfunctions and system failures
• repair or rebuild truck systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical and air systems
• maintain and service trucks
• complete work accurately and on time while meeting safety and quality standards.

Why this role

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Requires 3+ years working on medium- and heavy-duty Class 7/8 trucks and the technician’s own tools; Kenworth Essentials certification is preferred.
