Activities Associate, Memory Support (Part-Time)

The Activities Associate, Memory Support role is onsite in Pottsville, PA, with pay of $15 per hour. The associate encourages residents experiencing early signs of dementia to participate in activities that support mental and physical engagement. The role leads group and individual programming, documents participation, accompanies residents on scheduled outings, and assists the Connections Club Coordinator with programs and projects.

What you'll do

• Encourage residents to attend and participate in meetings, activities, and individual appointments
• facilitate the daily morning meeting and review the events calendar
• lead cognitive activities such as memory exercises, poetry, book clubs, and art therapy
• document participation
• accompany residents on scheduled outings
• and assist the Connections Club Coordinator with assigned projects and programs.

Why this role
