Assistant Childcare Center Director

The Assistant Childcare Center Director works onsite at a childcare and preschool center in Strongsville, OH. Pay is $19–$21 per hour, depending on experience and credentials. All Around Children provides childcare and education through learning centers across Northeast Ohio.

What you'll do

• Support daily operations, curriculum execution, and staff coordination
• help ensure compliance with licensing rules, quality standards, and center policies
• serve as a contact for staff and parents when the Center Director is absent
• support safe, developmentally appropriate classrooms
• assist with enrollment, tours, family onboarding, records, scheduling, and coverage
• maintain attendance, incident, and food-program documentation
• help lead staff meetings and training
• support curriculum implementation and classroom management
• communicate with families
• assist with budgets and supplies
• provide classroom coverage as needed.

Why this role

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred; at least two years of licensed childcare experience; no weekend work; CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
