Wound Nurse

What you'll do

• Assess and monitor wounds and skin conditions
• clean, treat, and bandage wounds
• provide care for pressure injuries, ulcers, surgical and diabetic wounds, skin tears, and other complex wounds
• develop and follow individualized treatment plans
• monitor changes in condition and communicate concerns
• collaborate with physicians and care teams
• educate residents and nursing staff on wound care and prevention
• maintain accurate documentation and follow facility, state, and federal standards.
