Lean Manufacturing Engineer, Rubber & Polyurethane

The Lean Manufacturing Engineer, Rubber & Polyurethane role is onsite in Port Washington, WI, with compensation of $75,000–$90,000 per year. Molded Dimensions makes custom-molded rubber and cast polyurethane components for transportation, marine, medical, industrial, and other markets. The role exists to improve plant performance, support production, and help launch new products with minimal disruption. Working across Operations, Quality, Engineering, Production, suppliers, and customers, the engineer applies lean methods, process analysis, and production systems to strengthen quality and efficiency.

What you'll do

• Lead lean and Six Sigma improvement efforts to reduce waste, costs, and quality issues
• maintain standard work and process documentation
• troubleshoot production problems and implement corrective actions
• conduct capability studies, validate equipment, and reduce cycle times
• coordinate process design, tooling, feasibility reviews, PPAP packages, first articles, and production trials
• use ERP/MRP systems for bills of materials, routings, inventory accuracy, and KPI reporting
• support safety, quality, environmental compliance, and equipment installation and validation.
