The Manager on Duty — Level III role is onsite in Boston, MA. Pay is $28 per hour. This hourly leader owns high-level shift execution and key financial and administrative processes. The role supports café performance, team leadership, compliance, catering coordination, and financial reporting while connecting shift operations with salaried management.

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day café performance and adjust service flow
• coach, delegate to, and motivate team members
• manage new-hire onboarding paperwork
• write schedules and track labor
• manage paper-goods purchasing, invoices, and ledger entries
• reconcile weekly labor reports and manage shift labor budgets
• coordinate catering orders
• support sales, service-speed goals, and inventory counts
• conduct advanced food-safety validations
• maintain health, food-safety, cleanliness, and general safety standards
• support team check-ins, coaching documentation, hospitality, guest concerns, onboarding, and training.
