Float Teller / Member Service Representative (MSR) Mentor

The Float Teller / Member Service Representative (MSR) Mentor role is fully onsite in Albany, NY, and pays $23–$25 per hour. The position supports member-facing branch services at First New York Federal Credit Union. The role processes member transactions and account and loan requests while mentoring tellers and MSRs. It contributes to accurate, compliant branch operations and member service by supporting members’ financial needs and promoting relevant credit union products and services.

What you'll do

• Process member transactions accurately and professionally
• follow teller and MSR policies and regulatory procedures, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements
• open and close cash boxes and workstations and balance cash
• train and mentor tellers and MSRs, including new hires
• open accounts and cross-sell products based on member needs
• process and disburse consumer and home equity loans
• refer members to retirement and investment services
• service account and loan issues
• maintain a Notary Public designation within the first year.
