The Quality Assurance Engineer, Fabrication role is onsite in Clackamas, OR; The position supports the RECONCRAFT quality assurance program in the marine fabrication industry. The engineer oversees quality planning, inspections, testing, and compliance across concurrent programs, helping maintain and improve the ISO 9001-compliant quality management system. The work supports product quality, efficient processes, and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Manage and support the ISO 9001 quality management system
• interpret contract and fabrication requirements
• develop quality plans, procedures, and test plans
• oversee calibration
• inspect aluminum and steel weldments
• coordinate customer surveys, inspections, and audits
• manage nonconformances and corrective actions
• track quality metrics and trends
• train craft workers
• conduct vessel and product reviews and trials.
