Disaster Response Specialist – PRN

The Disaster Response Specialist role is onsite in Larimer County, CO. Pay is $26.00–$31.20 per hour. SummitStone Health Partners supports behavioral health disaster response in the Northern Colorado community.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and manage CARE team deployment
• represent SummitStone at local, county, and state behavioral health disaster response meetings
• provide functional leadership and subject matter expertise
• coordinate and deliver CARE Team training with Learning and Development staff
• remain available for calls and communications about real-time crisis and disaster response
• maintain field response and Psychological First Aid training and competency
• maintain documentation for Department of Behavioral Health grant requirements.

Why this role

Requires an associate’s degree in emergency management, behavioral counseling, or a related field; more than three years of disaster or crisis response experience; functional leadership experience; and CPR and first aid certifications. The role responds to on-call requests and communications.
