Patient Support Specialist — Respiratory Equipment

This role supports patients and referral sources with home respiratory equipment questions and orders. It combines non-clinical CPAP equipment demonstrations and troubleshooting with customer service, appointment coordination, records, referral intake, insurance verification, and operational support, escalating clinical matters to licensed clinicians.

What you'll do

• Welcome patients and customers, manage calls and walk-in traffic, schedule appointments, demonstrate basic CPAP operation within written instructions and authorized scope, provide approved equipment education, troubleshoot within company protocols, refer clinical concerns to licensed clinicians, document equipment setup and education, support referrals and orders, verify insurance and prior authorization information, assist billing and daily operations, and maintain confidentiality.
