Radiation Therapist. This is an onsite position in Butte, MT. The pay range is $46.91 - $72.39 per hour. Intermountain Health is a leading healthcare provider. This role exists to administer therapeutic radiation, perform patient simulations, and provide basic patient care and education at St. James Hospital.

What you'll do

• Administer ionizing radiation for therapeutic purposes in accordance with the prescription of the Radiation Oncologist.
• Accountable for the simulation of patients in preparation of radiation therapy, basic patient care and education.
• Interprets and implements prescription and treatment plan.
• Delivers and charts all simulation and treatment summaries.
• Performs simulation procedures, prepare immobilization devices.
• Obtains accurate measurements, contours, and other information as needed for dosimetry purposes.
• Assess treatment machines and perform daily equipment warm-up and quality assurance procedures.
• Assists in clinical training and evaluation of student therapists if applicable.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Responsible for basic patient care during treatment delivery, assists with patient education, observes and monitors day-to-day clinical progress of patients for signs of treatment symptoms.
• Provides accurate daily billing information for all treatment related procedures.
• Responsible for scheduling and treating patients in a timely and professional manner.

Education

Radiology Tech License; Certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT); BLS

Experience

Radiology Tech License; Certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT)
