The attendant assists residents with activities of daily living and provides emotional and social support while respecting their dignity and independence. The role follows residents’ needs and care schedules, documents assistance, and alerts supervisors to concerns.

What you'll do

• Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort services, and other daily activities
• follow residents’ schedules of needs
• provide emotional and social support
• document assistance in daily logs
• report resident issues to supervisors
• respect resident independence, dignity, and confidentiality
• learn emergency equipment and procedures
• attend required training and meetings
• support a safe work environment.

Available schedules include full-time 6 a.m.–2 p.m. and part-time weekend-only shifts from 6 a.m.–2 p.m., 2 p.m.–10 p.m., or 10 p.m.–6 a.m.
