What you'll do

• Process and submit insurance claims
• follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing issues
• comply with federal, state, and local medical billing regulations
• collaborate with healthcare providers to improve billing processes
• maintain accurate billing records
• support other billing team members as needed.

Why this role

Requires at least two years of medical billing and coding experience and knowledge of insurance eligibility, benefits, claim processing, and payer requirements. Certified Professional Biller or Certified Professional Coder is preferred; Athena billing software experience is highly desirable.
