The Pediatrician (Part-Time) role is onsite in Bend, OR, with a part-time schedule of 0.6 FTE, three days per week; compensation is not specified. Central Oregon Pediatric Associates provides pediatric care for children from newborns through adolescence and aims to improve the health of children in its community. The pediatrician provides primary care in collaboration with the care team, supporting children’s health through preventive services, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and family education.

What you'll do

• Provide pediatric primary care and panel management, including well-child care, chronic disease management, immunizations, screening, and follow-up
• take histories and perform age-appropriate exams
• assess and manage physical, developmental, and behavioral health
• prescribe and order or interpret tests as appropriate
• educate patients and caregivers
• maintain records
• support newborn nursery transitions
• collaborate with specialists and staff
• rotate evening and weekend patient access coverage
• travel between clinics as required.
