The Registered Nurse, Vascular Access Clinician – Relief role is onsite in Cottonwood, AZ; some incumbents may be assigned to travel between Verde Valley Medical Center and Flagstaff Medical Center campuses. Pay is $35.50–$56.80 per hour. Northern Arizona Healthcare’s mission guides this patient-care role. The clinician coordinates care, performs vascular access procedures, educates patients and families, and supports the healthcare team. The role contributes to safe, high-quality care through assessment, line placement and maintenance, infection prevention, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and other practitioners.

What you'll do

• Assess patients and develop and evaluate individualized care plans
• review labs, history, and orders
• collaborate with physicians on access needs
• insert and maintain peripheral, arterial, central, and PICC lines as indicated
• use ultrasound for PICC insertion
• maintain sterile technique and infection prevention
• document care
• educate patients, families, staff, and students
• participate in quality and safety activities.
