Fire Sprinkler Service Technician 5 in Aurora, CO. This is an onsite position with a salary range of $29.66 - $40.42 per hour. The technician will follow troubleshooting procedures, read blueprints, and demonstrate strong customer service skills.

What you'll do

• Receive service calls from Service Resource Center.
• Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems.
• Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial applications.
• These include but are not limited to wet (steel, copper and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge and fire pumps.
• Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics and operational product manuals.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service, with strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
• Must have the ability to work alone.
• Must adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 70 lbs.
• Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet.
• Must be able to follow, read and understand all safety requirement of the company and the customer.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

5 years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry performing service and repair to Sprinkler and Suppression systems.
