Quality Technician

The Quality Technician is an onsite, first-shift role in Elyria, OH, in a 5x8-day work environment. Pay is $25.60–$32.00 per hour. The role works with manufacturing operations, suppliers, and quality leadership to help ensure parts and supplier materials meet specifications and are available for production. The technician monitors incoming and in-process parts, resolves discrepancies, supports containment and corrective-action validation, and reviews quality documentation. This work helps prevent disruptions to manufacturing operations and contributes to continuous improvement and reliable part availability.

What you'll do

• Monitor inbound supplier products and in-process parts for nonconformances, documentation gaps, and shipping issues
• manage supplier and internal product discrepancies
• communicate with suppliers to investigate quality or paperwork issues
• support nonconforming-parts containment
• assist with corrective-action validation and review First Article Inspections, PPAPs, and other quality documentation
• coordinate activities related to customer-returned goods
• participate in problem solving, kaizen events, 5S, and team activities.
